I am Alfie, a self-represented Actor, currently finishing a Theatre and Performance BA hons degree at The University of Salford. 10+ years Acting experience. Cheshire Theatre Guild best young Actor 2023 (Ethelred Rex in Silence) and 2018 (Peter Pan in Peter Pan).

I am currently working on a self-devised, contemporary theatre piece with three other male performers, surrounding the concept of discovering the differences and similarities of male role models across different cultures, which is due to be performed in early May 2026 at The University of Salford.

In December 2025 I toured a piece I both directed and performed in to Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo in Porto, 'For the Life of Me' which involved contemporary political issues linking to Monica Ross and her Acts of memory.

In 2025, I was a performer in the piece 'A Conversation in Ten Parts' directed by Teresa Brayshaw that performed in Manchester, Romania (FITS) and Porto. Which discussed issues surrounding masculinity in our current society and was performed using acting, song, rap dance, audience interaction and basketball choreography.

In 2025, I had the opportunity to write and perform in a new sitcom pilot 'I Think you Should Leaf' which was filmed and produced at The University of Salford.

In 2024, I gained my first experience of directing, getting to direct a version of Duncan Macmillan's 'People, places & things.' Which was performed at The University of Salford's studio theatre, delving into issues surrounding substance abuse.

My Story

My training includes The Harlequin Youth Theatre and Cheshire College South & West, and I am currently studying Theatre and Performance at the University of Salford.

Alongside intensive performance training, I have cultivated a strong interest in directing and writing, developing original screenplays and stage plays while honing my skills in acting for camera. This multi-disciplinary approach has deepened my understanding of storytelling from both sides of the lens, enhancing my craft as a performer.

On stage, I have taken on a variety of demanding roles, most notably portraying the tyrannical King Ethelred Rex in Moira Buffini’s Silence, a performance that earned me the Best Young Actor in a Senior Production award from the Cheshire Theatre Guild in 2023. My screen work spans genres from horror to psychological drama, beginning with my debut in Woollyback Films’ Castle of the Rock (2012) and continuing through a range of short film projects where I have brought complex, layered characters to life.

Whether commanding a stage, performing to camera, or shaping stories from the director’s chair, I bring focus, adaptability, and a deep commitment to authenticity. My goal is to build a body of work that resonates with audiences, challenges me artistically, and reflects a bold, evolving creative voice.
